Meet the Principal

My name is Beth Steffl and I am humbled and honored to be the part time principal and a part time teacher at St. Raphael Catholic School. I have been a teacher here since 2006 and a principal here since 2018. I received my bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Martin Luther College in 2004 and my Masters of Science in Educational Leadership from Southwest Minnesota State University in 2020. I have experience teaching kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and third grade. I currently teach K-6 music and K-2 art along with being the principal. I have a passion for helping children and families and I am so blessed to do what I love here at St. Raphael Catholic School.

I reside in Sleepy Eye with my husband and 2 children. I love learning and try to learn something new every day. I have never been more excited about what I get to do every day and am looking forward to a wonderful and faith filled school year. This is sure to be the best year yet at St. Raphael Catholic School.
